01 / What gets saved

The signup record contains your email address, the signup time, the consent wording and its version, the website and form you used, the signup method, and the privacy-notice version and URL.

This is currently a single opt-in list: choosing Subscribe saves your address. There is no confirmation email, and ownership of that address is not verified. Earlier records keep the evidence collected at the time; newer notice details are not added retrospectively.

02 / What it’s for

Your consent is the basis for sending occasional emails from Cris about projects and newsletter updates. Your address won’t be sold, published, or used for unrelated third-party marketing.

03 / Who helps run it

Cloudflare hosts the site and signup database. It processes technical request information to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. The signup handler uses your IP address for rate limiting, but does not store IP addresses or browser user-agent information in the subscriber table.

Cloudflare operates internationally, so processing is not limited to Australia. If an email-sending provider is selected in future, it will process addresses for this same newsletter purpose. This notice will be updated with its details when selected.

04 / How long it stays

Your signup record is kept while you’re subscribed and the list is operating. You can request removal at any time. Minimal consent evidence or a suppression record may be retained as needed to honour your withdrawal and meet legal obligations.

05 / Change your mind

Email Cris at the address below to ask for access to your information, correct an address, or leave the list. To unsubscribe, ask to leave the list and include the address you signed up with. Unsubscribing is currently manual; there is no automated unsubscribe link or confirmation process. Old Skool style :)
